She was a commission from the lovely S., from Spain, and a HUGE challenge I'm very proud to have faced!
I feel like she pushed me up a whole bunch of steps on my climb as a dollmaker.

sorry, another question, i was wondering what kind of thread did you use for the gold embroidery?

Thanks! I'm used to that scale by now.

Metallic embroidery floss is the work of the devil, imo, so I stick with regular metallic thread for thin lines (like on the cloak here) and crochet yarn for the thicker ones.

One of the benefits of being self-taught is that I have no guidelines to follow and try new things, mixing supplies and techniques.
