A commission from my darling L. as a present for the lovely A., in Germany, here is Jemmy, an 18th century sailor.

He was inspired by this image: [link]

An absolute sweetheart to make, he was!

I struggled a bit with the flap on his breeches, but that was about it. Everything else was smooth sailing.

Me playing around with embroidery is always fun and often produces better results than when I actually am trying to make something properly. With this, I think I managed a nice texture for it without even trying!
