Deri
Artist | Artisan Crafts
Portugal
30 years old, Portuguese, History geek with a major crush on Renaissance and Tudor fashion.
My Deridolls were a way of combining that love with my passion for crafts.

I feel a bit silly and very presumptuous asking this, but...
Is there anything in the techniques I use with my dolls that makes you curious?

As most of you know, I'm self-taught and my works are the product of years of trial and error and internet tutorials. I don't claim knowing the proper way to make ANYTHING! :P But there are a couple of tricks I've been picking up here and there that could be helpful to someone who's as clueless as I was/am.

If you ever asked me a question about sewing, you have come across my confusing-as-all-Hell! explanations. I don't know the names of the things and I can jumble the steps like you have noooooo idea, so I was thinking of putting my tripod to use and, maybe, short videos where I showed the technique instead of trying to explain it?

I've had to put my participation in contest prizes and giveaways on hold for the time being, but I still want to give back to the community somehow, so I'm just throwing the idea out there. What do you think?

Although I hardly survived the visit of your gallery (almost died because of all the cuteness :D), I'll take the risk and watch you from now on.
